About the founder
Alicya La Cilento is a 30-year-old Native American-Canada-born super mom of 3 who found herself desiring more health and wealth for her family in the middle of a pandemic and made it a reality by starting her own wellness-based business - ‘Alkalign.’
Alkalign, a play on the words alkaline and alignment, is a sea moss biz born out of pure passion and love for physical, mental, and emotional well-being. As an indigenous woman and vegan, discovering sea moss was a turning point for Alicya and her family of five in 2020 when her husband contracted COVID but recovered quickly with the help of sea moss. Her fascination with this natural resource led her to create a new form of livelihood in 2021. Through her work, she hopes to teach people that Mother Earth left plenty of miracle medicines behind for us to cultivate and heal with, and Alkalign is sharing this magic with the world.
